Guidelines

 

Prepare for a unique experience at the Addiction World Conference (AWC 2026), hosted by Precision Global Conferences at the Miami. The venue is Miami, Florida, USA.

The conference begins with a grand Opening Ceremony at 08:30 AM, followed by a full day of keynote speakers, speaker sessions, and poster presentations. Make sure to arrive early to take full advantage of the exciting schedule.

Abstract Submission – Your Opportunity to Stand Out:
•Submission Deadline:
Submit your abstract electronically by the deadline.
•What to Include: Attach your abstract with your name, title of abstract, author's e-mail, and presentation type as oral or poster.
•Language: Please submit your abstract in plain American English for clarity and uniformity.
• Unlimited Possibilities: There is no limit to the number of abstracts you can submit, but each must be unique! No duplicates – each abstract should be submitted only once.
• Expert Review: All abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of global experts. You will hear back pretty soon after submission with the status of your abstract.

How We Choose the Best:
•Length Matters:
Your abstract must be concise – 250 words max, including references.
• Quality Over Quantity: Our review committee will focus on your abstract's scientific rigor, clarity, and relevance. Editors will refine your text for flow and readability.
•Multidisciplinary Insight: A diverse, worldwide group of experts in your area will review your abstract. Following the evaluation, they will let you know their decision via email.

On-Site Registration:
Registration will be available at 08:00 AM on the first day of the conference at Crowne Plaza Boston-Woburn.
• On registration, you will be given your badge, conference folder, abstract book, and program guide.
• During registration, you'll get lunch vouchers, redeemable at any participating

Speaker Guidelines – Make Your Mark:
•Time Is of the Essence: You have 20 minutes to impress! Ensure that you conclude your presentation within the allocated time.
•Languages and Formats: Present in English using PPT or PDF format. Your slides must be clear, impactful, and easy to follow.
• No Personal Laptops Allowed: We’ll provide all the equipment – no personal laptops are needed. Should anything go wrong, our team is ready to help.
• A Smooth Experience: Arrive early and verify that your presentation files work correctly with the provided tech setup.

Poster Presentations – Stand Out with Visual Impact:
• Mount Your Poster: Presenters should mount their posters one hour before the start of the session.
• Size Matters: Each display space is 1 meter wide by 1 meter high.
• Pre-Conference Prep: Posters must be printed in advance – on-site printing is unavailable. Be sure to bring your finished poster to the event!
• Poster Pick-Up: Take your poster at the end of the session. Posters not collected will be discarded.

Virtual Presentations – Participate from Anywhere:
Seamless Virtual Experience: Presenters will get a personalized webinar invitation with their user ID at least one week before the event.
Join Early: Log in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time, avoiding potential technical hitches.
Time Commitment: Virtual presentations should last 20 to 25 minutes in total, with time at the end for Q&A. Be punctual at the beginning and end of your presentation.
Open your presentation slides before the meeting starts. You can then share them directly via screen share.
Recorded Presentation Option: If you would prefer not to attend live, you can submit a pre-recorded video and slides, which must be sent 10 days before the event.

Certification – Recognition of Your Achievements
• Certificates: Attendees will receive a certificate with their name and affiliation. If you need any updates or corrections, contact us one month before the event.
• Digital Certificates: Your E-certificate will be emailed within 2-3 business days after the conference.
• Co-authors: Only registered participants will be eligible for a certificate. Co-authors who don’t register will not receive one.

Awards for Excellence – Celebrate Your Contribution:
•Best Presentation Award: This award is given to the most impactful and visually appealing presentation, and both oral and poster formats are eligible.
•Eligibility: Presenters must be registered for the conference to be considered.
•Judging Criteria: Originality, significance, depth of research, clarity, and visual appeal will be considered.
•Award Ceremony: The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony, and gift cards and certificates will be awarded as prizes.
