Alcoholism

Alcohol disorder, also commonly termed Alcoholism, results from alcohol consumption in excess amounts, leading to physical dependency. Alcoholism is often linked to many kinds of crimes, violent as well as non-violent. These conditions are thought to arise from a number of underlying reasons, genetics and environmental factors being the most common ones. During treatment of alcoholism, caution must be taken while ceasing alcohol consumption of patient as this can have potential complications during withdrawal.
