Autism and Mental Health

Autism spectrum disorder highly correlates with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders and can be challenging to diagnose and treat. A holistic approach to improve the health of affected persons is needed. Early intervention, specialized diagnostics, and therapies should be implemented to reach the best possible outcomes. The Addiction World Conference AWC 2025 vision promotes a global network of expertise where interdisciplinary collaboration can be fostered to improve the care that individuals with ASD receive and co-occurring mental health conditions and advance novel solutions for more inclusive and effective care worldwide.
