I have been a specialized educator in addiction treatment for 17 years with the ARPADE association, which was founded in 1973 in response to a lack of care and specialized support for people who use drugs, particularly heroin. I’m working in the Care, Support, and Prevention Center for Addiction (CSAPA).
My daily work is divided between supporting individuals in our therapeutic residential care service for addiction treatment and leading an outreach consultation project in emergency shelters for homeless individuals.
Finally, throughout the year, I conduct training sessions and awareness raising initiatives on the topics of addictive behaviors, harm reduction, and risk mitigation in addiction treatment, aimed at professionals in the social sector.
